Type L-2A Flight Jacket Plain Version Air Force Blue
The L-2A was a lightweight flight jacket used by U.S. Air Force pilots in the summer, when the heavily insulated MA-1 would be far too warm. A faithful reproduction, our L-2A is made using a custom-produced nylon 66 in Air Force blue with a light wool interlining. Details include knit wool ribbing, 1950s dead-stock TALON zippers, two hand-warmer pockets and a cigarette pocket.
